OWIT-NY AND MENTORING

As we mentioned at our Holiday Party on December 8, 2009, OWIT-NY would like to know if you are interested in participating in a Mentoring program. Mentoring is a powerful means to advance the cause of women in the workplace since it provides a structure in which women with career experience can impart their wisdom to women who are at the start of their careers or in transition.

You have the option to be a Mentor and guide one or more protégées or to be a protégée learning from a Mentor. You may even be a Mentor in your field of interest and also be a protégée to learn about another field of interest.

We encourage you to participate in the Survey. It is the only way we will be able to assess interest and match Mentors and protégées.
